Brandon Flowers Promises The Killers To Come Back In 2011

Brandon Flowers has said he expects to The Killers to get back together next year.

The US band are currently on hiatus while Flowers releases his debut solo album, ‘Flamingo’.

But in an interview with the Metro, the singer said he was looking forward to coming back together with his band mates.

“We don’t have a date set but it will be next year,” he said. “I miss them sometimes. We’ve shared a lot of experiences together.

“When the blows come it’s nice to have people there to share them with.”

Flowers admitted that it was an “unusual” experience recording an album without the rest of the band.

‘Flamingo’ was released in the UK on Monday (September 6).

Meanwhile, Flowers has extended his upcoming UK tour with an additional London date.

The Killers as an emancipation to the music in general

This is the sincere conclusion I came on lately.And to proove this,let me tell you my personal story which bounded me to the music and the world of artists.Thus,I’ll let you know how I came in contact with The Killers,why I support them and why I am so into their music.
So to begin with it,I must confess to you that I always was attracted to the artistic area and had a sense to good music,since I was a little child and I had some very good friends whom we liked to make performance shows with,whatever these shows would had been:to sing,to perform songs or acting to the people around,even at school.Till one day we got to take some amateur classes in a kidsland place too,with no precise destination though,and now,personally,I’m sorry about this,that I hadn’t develop it for myself.
But I guess,this attraction of mine since being a little pulled me more interest towards the stars in the showbiz.And as I grew up,I had more and more interest to the musics and stars who interpreted them.
The big excitement turning-point in this,being when I came across in ’93 on that time’s MTV Europe,which I had started to watch instantly day and night,and this way the my impression to the music getting bigger and bigger till I realized that I am a huge fan of MTV.I simply loved it,miss it already and still love MTV UK with all its channels I have(MTV Rocks,MTV Hits and MTV Dance) because of a true fact in this being,that almost anyone doesn’t still know these days,that MTV UK is in fact MTV Europe which launched on the 1st of August,1987,and for me personally in ’93!!
This means that I was just “fashioned” to its music which I never got enough to analyze them as their music styles,lyrics,looks and everything it consisted of.This way I always had,of course favourite music styles and stars too,starting in those times with the “dance”.But I mention that I never left the attention on the other genres too which MTV showed,and as I grew up I found more and more interesting things about all this artistic area,becoming a “fan” of many music styles like derivations of dance,pop,rock,latino,soul,R’N'B,even hip hop at some point,but of course,without one genre-the satanic death metal- which I never agreed,simply feeling very far my personality to that.(Note:I said this,not to be misunderstood!!)
So it was/is a fantastic world,and I guess I’ll just never get enough of it!!!
But why did I talk about this?And which is the connection with this truly awesome band,led by Brandon Flowers and named “The Killers”?
It just means,as I titled this article too:”emancipation of music” what they really are,because of being the compression to my musical experience and feelings,which this band just hit,sincerelly!!And this is why I mean that I was “KILLED” by them,especially by Brandon in every sense that the music,and in connection with it the personality(ies) of stars can be sensed.
I am just sorry that I didn’t come across them sooner than November,2008(“Day&Age” album) and thus not being able to support them,but now I do(for a while by now) because I am THE BIGGEST ROMANIAN VICTIM,and because of their “revolutionized” alternative indie music style that gathers somehow the every kind of music style I met before in all my life.Having known the true fact that they are inspired by the ’80s-’90s music genres trying to revive those to these days.(Note:Something truly honourable!!)
That’s why I say,they must have “emancipated” the music somehow,at least for me.Also this is why I personally hope and pray for a long-long lasting career time for them,and for Brandon,too as starting his solo project!!
This way as “THE KILLERS” name shows it too,the band is one of the greatest of all time,very awesome and deserving full love and respect support!!And personally I will never let them down,because Brandon prooved to me what is capable of!!

SO LONG LIVE THE KILLERS AND GO ON BRANDON IN ANY WAY YOU WISH!!Cause “I don’t mind if you don’t mind” and ” I don’t shine if you don’t shine”,hardly not being able to foresee the success of your solo album,and waiting for it like believing in you about everything you do!!

ASCAP,adica Societatea americana a compozitorilor,autorilor si editorilor va onora trupa The Killers pt impactul pe care l-au avut si il au asupra muzicii americane cu niste genuri care au ajutat si ajuta formarea muzicii viitorului.
Premiul de excelenta,Vanguard Award va fi atribuit trupei pe data de 21 aprilie la Hollywood.

In ultima vreme s-a tot comentat pe net,ca showurile formatiei din turneul australian de la festivalul Good Vibrations vor fi ultimele pt o perioada mai lunga,dupa multi-interpretatele spuse ale ghitaristului Dave Keuning pt Australian Associated Press saptamana trecuta,din care se subintelegea ca trupa o va lua pe drumuri separate pt tot restul anului 2010.
“Extenuati” era motivul citat de el pt care formatia va lasa totul deoparte pt un timp din cauza nevoii de un “respiro” dupa 6 ani de concerte continue.

Trupa din Las Vegas va lua o pauza dupa ultimul lor show din Melbourne,Australia de luna urmatoare de pe data de 21 februarie.
Referitor la asta,ghitaristul Dave Keuning a spus:
“Nu cred ca oamenii stiu despre ce e vorba,dar cred ca astea sunt ultimele noastre concerte pt o perioada.”
“Nu am avut o pauza de mult timp.Am fost tot timpul printre turnee si inregistrari si asa mai departe.Au fost 6 ani in care am fost extrem de conectati ca trupa,si se pare ca lumea asteapta de la noi sa facem asta non-stop pana murim,dar noi vrem si un pic de timp liber,ca sa fim si noi insine si sa mai facem un pic si ce vrem.”
Intrebat daca pauza e permanenta,el a mai declarat:
“Nu din cate stiu.”
Aceasta stire vine doar dupa o luna ce Brandon Flowers a negat oficial zvonurile ca lasa formatia pt o cariera solo.
Ghitaristul a mai spus ca doreste foarte mult sa petreaca mai mult timp cu baietelul lui de 4 ani.
Formatia care include si frontmanul Brandon Flowers,basistul Mark Stoermer si tobosarul Ronnie Vannucci a fost infiintata in 2002 si a castigat faima datorita unor hituri ca Somebody Told Me si When You Were Young.Iar cu ultimul lor album Day&Age lansat in 2008 ei au petrecut mult timp din 2009 in turneu.
